Dedicated to the memory of Simon Heller

This site is a tribute to Simon Heller, loving husband to Sue and devoted father of Olivia and Louisa. He loved nature and was happiest amongst leafy forests and streams, up a mountain, at the coast, in his garden and at his allotment.  He considered himself lucky to live in such a beautiful rural location as Penshurst, enjoying both sunrise and sunset from his window or garden. The views and sense of space in his village were a constant source of joy. The family's annual trip to the Highlands of Scotland gave him much pleasure, as he was surrounded by unspoilt beauty. In another life, he would have enjoyed working for the Forestry Commission or The Woodland Trust.  He loved all trees, especially the mighty oak and was always saddened when they were cut down. He was a life-long supporter of The Woodland Trust and planted several trees of all types in gardens and allotments over the years. An unloved Fraser Fir he rescued 10 years ago is now a thriving tree.
